Keeping community in your corner
From Your Corner is a community-forward initiative, inviting possibilities for intentional connection and care through three main areas:

Fostering
Belonging
By promoting participation in casual interactions and gatherings, we create trust and a culture of care.

Strengthening
Local Economies
By lifting up the stories and work of small businesses and community groups, we invite engagement that sustains local prosperity.

Encouraging
Healthy Attention
By offering reminders and tools for being present, we help people
resist distraction and focus
on what truly matters.
Loneliness is weighing
heavy on many of us
With our social ties unraveling, isolation has become a health crisis and we're losing our capacity for connecting with one another.
Locally-owned businesses
need our support
Small businesses anchor communities with jobs, belonging, and character. Without our backing, we risk losing local wealth and identity.
Our focus is fading from daily life
Our digital addictions erode our attention. Pulled by devices, we lose patience and control of how we engage in the world.
Gatherings & Events
Spaces for neighbors to connect with each other and their small businesses
Letter Writing Campaigns
Facilitating letter exchanges that spread gratitude and foster connections
Workshops
Gatherings to exchange wisdom, develop skills, and deepen local ties
Storytelling
Amplifying local voices through live events and creative media, like podcasts
Volunteer Opportunities
Promoting existing community service activities and helping you set up your own
Economic Action Projects
Collective efforts to encourage mindful spending and support of small businesses
Community Art
Collaborative projects that beautify shared spaces, like sidewalk chalk
'Screen-Free' Sundays
Structured guidance and support for hosting a screen-free environment
Tools & Resources
Offering sourced and original materials, like the Roll, Don't Scroll zine
These are just a few of the possibilities.
Are there projects you're already involved with or aware of?
Do you have any ideas that you'd like to bring to life? Let's connect!
Whether it's helping neighbors, supporting local businesses or reclaiming attention, this is an invitation for us all to contribute and connect.
Choose the dice over the device.

This "digital" copy is best for viewing on a screen. If you'd like to print, see your options below.
These two versions are
ready for print.
Here's a few tips to consider:
• Check formatting in print preview.
It might be best to download
the pdf and then print, rather than
printing directly from Drive.
• Print double-sided: Booklet on
short edge, Pocket on long edge.
• After printing for Pocket, cut each portrait sheet in half horizontally.
• Folding can be tricky at first,
but once you see how the
pages go together it's easy.
Staple and enjoy!
With 36 activities, this mini zine is designed for 2+ people in a social setting.
